AMCHPR visit to Shandong Langelo Clock Manufacturer

Postby AlbertaTime » October 15th 2018, 11:26pm

This is a massive AMCHPR post, lots of photos and videos of the manufacturing processes at Shandong Langelo Arts & Crafts Co., Ltd. in Liaocheng, Shandong, a manufacturer of 17th and 18th century reproduction clocks. Although the movements (and moving mechanisms) are modern (mechanical and quartz), the housings are hand made using the original 17th and 18th century lost wax casting and metals plating techniques.

AMCHPR China Tour 2018 - April 22/24 - Liaocheng, Shandong / Pt 1: Shandong Langelo Arts & Crafts Co., Ltd - Langelo Ma Clock manufacturer

The touristy stuff in Liaocheng, and a visit to the Shandong Liaocheng Zhong Tai Watch Company (aka Taishan Watch Factory) in Liaocheng is my next/upcoming post.

As always, A-T, absolutely fascinating!
I checked you out, and I now want you to take the journey to lick my taint. It's small, but vast.

Good read. A lot of work has gone into your museum. Hopefully I will get a chance to see it one day. Assuming of course I can find my way to Canada again.

Thank you and you're welcome here any time. Canada is easy to find, just look waaaaaaay north.

Thanks, John. This one was off my usual path a bit, but they eye-candy level was top-of-the-line.
