Reminds me of a certain story that a friend of mine told me recently. There's this excellent maker of watchmaking tools and workbenches that he knows, who has the unfortunate habit of starting a ton of projects at once, while forgetting to attend to the ongoing ones. Save for making tools and desks, he also started servicing watches a few years ago.
Only recently, in a Dutch forum, the guy was boasting about a new project of his. And there, one guy replied, "And what about my watch? I've sent it to you for a service months ago!"
Soon, more angry clients, numbering more than 20, started venting their anger. Some of them sent in their watches for a service in 2015, and still haven't received them back. My friend has ordered a custom tool for safely removing KIF shock devices (which - otherwise - can spring out and fly to the other end of the room) something like 18 months ago, and still hasn't received it.
While Maison Celadon makes the sort of Chinese watches that I'd like to have, I say fuck them in the ear. This is ridiculous of them. If they took the money, they're supposed to fucking deliver, not provide some bloody 3D renders.
His deepest need was that people should like him. An admirable trait, that... In a spaniel, or a whore.
