my latest find

my latest find

Postby iwasbanned » July 12th 2018, 6:47am

didn't want to derail Smell's disneyworld post, but i saw artman mentioned the lack of appropriate mickey watches. the other day we were going through a box of my wife's things from when she was a kid. we found some neat things, but this in my opinion was the coolest:

Bradley Swiss Made! it's got a scratched up crystal which is plexi i think. i'll get some polywatch and fix that. the movement is running, but haven't really timed it yet, but i'll probably get it serviced anyway. the original strap was too tiny for my wrist, likely as this was a kid's watch i assume. maybe people were just smaller 30 years ago. regardless, i'm on a search for a 17mm lug width, long strap for this guy.

Here's my only one. Had it for about 20 years. I dug it out of the old watch box and changed the battery.
