A brief intro - Call me Stephen

foghorn wrote:It would be great,Mazinger, if you could post a brief intro so that we know who you are and where your interests ( horological) lie. Then you and MK can continue your repartee and we can sit back and enjoy the hilarity that is bound to ensue. There’s an intro forum here someplace.

We pause this regularly scheduled watch banter for a quick intro.

Being in the watch industry for many years has brought me to where I currently am, reviewing watches that interest me, inspire me, etc... I don’t do my reviews for approval or acceptance from other watch enthusiasts or for the approval of the watch companies. I am bored with the soulless rehashed designs of the endless barage of sub clones out there. I don’t base my likes on watch size, brand but I base it on what appeals to me. If people read my reviews and take something away from them that’s just an added bonus to my hobby as a “mediocre blogger”

I have been involved in the watch industry in one way or another for over 16 years. 5 years ago I decided to venture off and start my blog/review site and I haven’t looked back. My reviews offer a different take and experience to that of a traditional review. I absolutely love watches, and I believe that passion shines through in my reviews. I truly trial and test each watch in real situations, in all weather conditions and in all types of environments, to give you the reader an accurate and true experience of the watch itself.

Thank you for visiting and I hope that you enjoy.

Just hope he posts pics of his own watches, and that they're not something off of Dr. Who.

I have been wearing this Italian in place of my DSSD. My DSSD is getting spa treatment at Rolex right now.

Oh, my, God Bedlam, look at his watch
It is so big, it looks like
One of those microbrand guys' watches.
But, ya know, who understands those microbrand guys?
They only talk to him, because,
He writes like a total prostitute, 'kay?
I mean, his watch is just so big
I can't believe it's just so round, it's like out there hitting door frames.
I mean gross, look
It’s just so, tall.
I like big watches and I can not lie
You other brothers can deny
That when a mediocre blogger walks in with an itty bitty wrist
And a grotesque round watch in your face
You get sick, want to pull up vomit bag
'Cause you notice that watch isn’t a Tag
Right on my wrist, you see what I am wearing
You are hooked and can't stop staring
Oh Watchlords, I want to get wit'cha
And teach you how to take your picture
We can start out in the fresh air,
And then grab yourself some nair.
Rub it on that wrist like your mean,
So that next wrist shot is nice and clean.
I will stick around here if that’s alright,
maybe you all can teach me how to write......right..........rite.........
