New shoes for two bad boys.

New shoes for two bad boys.

Postby Mark1 » April 16th 2018, 8:37pm

I have a hell of a time finding watch straps that are long enough for an 8 inch wrist. Even if they buckle in, the end is often too short to even reach the keeper. I kind of like the look of canvas straps. Until now I hadn't bought any because of the length issue. Panatime has these available in XL now so I thought I'd give them a try. They are pretty stiff right out of the box but the length will work for me. Wether they stay on the watches-only time will tell. Before and after pics below.

Nice choices, both look great, but I imagine those would look awesome in anything!

Good choices. Until i picked up a watch from foghorn that had a canvas strap i never thought about them. Now i am a fan. They will break in fast enough.

Those are great straps. They break in fairly quickly.

Yup, I have the brown strap. I wish the keepers were thinner.

I see what you mean. The single large floating keeper works in this case for me. On some straps you get one fixed and one floater, with a large wrist there is often nothing left for the floating keeper to do so I often end up removing it.
