Looking for a bracelet link

Looking for a bracelet link

Postby Ofcmark » June 13th 2018, 7:46am

I won a Seiko Kinetic #5M620A10 from Foghorns auction. I like the watch but find it a little tight, I would like to buy a link for the bracelet.
I called Seiko and was told they no longer make the link. I checked ebay but could not find anything. Does anyone have any suggestions where to look for the link I need.

Thanks
Mark

Did they cross reference if the bracelet was used on other models?

I will guess that you have contacted Jeff about this already? If he is like me he probably put the extra links in a box somewhere. If not ebay or perhaps contact Seiko again and as Russ mentioned, ask if they have a cross reference on the bracelet. Many Seiko watches shared bracelets as a cost cutting method.

How have you been Mark? Have you been able to recover sufficiently yet?

Look on ebay for bracelet extenders.

I believe the Watch already has that type of clasp on it I adjusted it all the way out and that’s where it fits but it’s just a little too tight

The extender goes on the end of the current clasp. Just be sure to measure the inside width of your current clasp where the extender will attach.

Below shows the extender without adjustment holes and step, but they are both installed the same. The one without the step can slide inside the OEM clasp to adjust. The one with the step and holes does not slide into the OEM clasp and has adjustment holes instead.
