Premium British watch brand Christopher Ward is delighted to announce that on 10th August, they will be unveiling the latest timepiece from their C9 range; the C9 P2725 TM-B Limited Edition. This 100-piece collection honours the 100th Anniversary of the RAF and includes aluminum from the Hurricane fighter plane that heroically defended a raid on Buckingham Palace on what became known as Battle of Britain Day, 15th September 1940.

If the power reserve is 46 hours then that is what the indicator should indicate. Altimeter themed or not.
Not a bad looking watch but too much historic gimmickry.
And enough with the surgical grade steel and museum grade crystal baloney!!

I much prefer the 5-day power reserve stuff they had in the past

First things first: all the marketing talk in that article sucks big time. The phrase "museum grade crystal" is quite as fucking over the top as marketing slogans can get.

Second: "disc of P2725 Hurricane precious metal..." Oh, so the Rolls-Royce Merlin pistons were made of solid-fucking-gold? Or platinum? Yeeeeeaaaahhhh...right.

The power reserve indicator scale sucks as well- I agree, it should be 46. What the fuck made them put "100" at the end of it, I don't know, and I don't think I want to know - although on second thoughts, if it was something that they were smoking, I'd actually like to know what it was, because it must have been some pretty strong stuff.

Will that make CW relegated to TV wartch status in this forum?

When I saw that it was another wartche with some scrap of metal inside it I just closed the tab.

WTF, CW? Can't wait for the Stauer style ads in in-flight magazines and Reader's Digest.

The sin is perhaps a hundred times worse for anyone who had a blade hobby at one time or another. Because there's no such fucking thing as surgical-grade stainless.

Now, I believe there is such a thing as "museum grade" sapphire. Generally speaking the most highly valued blue sapphires are velvety blue to violetish blue, in medium to medium dark tones. Preferred sapphires also have strong to vivid color saturation. The saturation should be as strong as possible without darkening the color and compromising brightness. (credit to GIA). Meaning, of course you can't see the hands or dial thus rendering the watch worthless.

They hired an invicter copywriter and need to muzzle him as soon as convenient. Then extradite his sorry ass to Panama.
