My Shrink is a Hipster

Postby tiktok » November 26th 2017, 12:40pm

Everyone goes to a shrink in New York. Mine is a seventy year old crotchety Frenchman. He is a total ball buster and funny as hell. Anyway he usually wears a Piaget Altiplano but yesterday he was wearing some weird shaped watch. He showed it to me and it was a super day glo Dietrich. I know it's a little hokey with a Miyota movement at the price but the dude is now totally cool in my book. I could wear one maybe a recon.

You take the Dietrich and I'll take the Piaget...

Anyone who would wear that should get their head examined.

Not my style but I've seen that they sell those at Gnomon.

I guess that's why I see him. I like that watch. He's really funny, I do a lot of distilling of woods and herbs and he keeps asking me to make him a batch of moonshine.

I have my Seiko Sagarmatha up for sale and someone offered me a Dietrich +$100.00 for it. I turned them down. Not my style.

Hey, all that therapy does us a lot of good here in NYC. No, it doesn't. Yes, it does.
Since many people weren't in lockstep with his beloved cheese box shit watch brand, The Cruise King ran off blowing snot bubbles, far away from his once-beloved forum. Here, eat this mudpie, Paw Paw. It tastes like a Hershey bar. Go ahead, dig in.

Seriously though, if you think the Dietrich is 'bright', I have one of these somewhere...

Shrink vs Hipster - now that's a fight I'd like to see.

Would that be an inner conflict?
