Newbie here

Postby jungleman607 » May 17th 2016, 9:40am

Hey, y'all.

I am new-ish to watch collecting. My current collection includes an Omega Planet Ocean, Victorinox Maverick II, a couple Seikos, and a pile of junk.

Recently, I have also taken up modifying watches, primarily Seiko SKX. I still have much to learn, and look forward to participating in the forum.

Hey there. Welcome to the deep end of the pool.
A tale of six Seikos (two Kinetics, two autos, two Solar): FIVE of them have disintegrated, three while being stored. Please, explain to me that whole "bang for the buck" thing again.

Welcome junglemania. Are you open to trades for the pile of junk?

As WL token Dead Guy, please allow me to offer you a laurel, and hearty handshake, and a big Lawrence Welkcome 2U! As the owner of several piles of junk myself, I can attest to how much fun they are to collect and throw at other watch enthusiasts; they make a lovely BONK! sound when you hit someone on the forehead with one...***SIGH***

But I digress... :?
