On September 15, in Neuchâtel, the Swiss Center for Electronics and Microtechnology (CSEM) and Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier (a sister company of Parmigiani Fleurier) presented the results of seven years of collaboration: a mechanical movement with an exceptional power-reserve of one month.

Cleverness - great to see...
Watch collecting is a disastrous trap and I'm stuck. At least I always know what time it is.

Watershed development. Unfortunately it will take many years for that technology to trickle down to a price range for the masses. In the interim our Chinese friends will roll out their version within 12 months at a fraction of the cost.
