Using TOR to access the forum?

Postby koimaster » February 27th 2018, 10:29am

If so, I am letting you know now that I am going to be blocking off TOR access to this forum in the next week or so. Too many trolls, to many commies using it to try to access the forum or register here.

What the fuck's TOR??
I checked you out, and I now want you to take the journey to lick my taint. It's small, but vast.

The Onion Router.
And the fact I'm still living rent free in his head makes me grin and giggle.

The Onion Router

Gives a false IP and location of the user, TOR is one of the browsers utilized to access the "dark web", it is not as untraceable as many users of it think.

Nothing beats it when shopping though Duckduckgo works as well. This is especially the case when checking one's facts before posting in the battle zone. Like f'rinstance checking to make sure Amazon is selling The Turner Diaries when the topic is a less offensive work. Forget to use TOR and Amazon will fill your recommendations not only with The Turner Diary but also with everything one puchasing the aforementioned might want to supplement it - and there's more than I would have guessed. Do yourself a favor and don't check to see if they've got anything associated with NAMBLA.

Researching how to use the bluetooth pairing on a Hyundai will also result in being cyberstalked with Hyundai ads. In fact after buying damn near anything you'll be bukkaked with ads trying to sell you what you've already purchased. Sometimes this is ok like when sites featuring Asian babes follow me around for weeks.

TOR is indispensible during an election year as well.

I'm a Mets fans, and these freakin' pitchers giving themselves superhero nicknames is gheyer than Nathan Lane's nightstand.
I would rather be seen wearing an Invicta than a Hublot - at least I can explain away the Invicta.

TOR is a new thing to me, only heard about it a few days ago from a troll hunter friend.

Agreed - TOR does have its place.

Especially with the end of net neutrality approaching.

How to find the Invisible Internet

The rabbit hole that is the Internet goes much deeper than most people know. In fact, the World Wide Web as we know it represents just 4% of networked web pages — the remaining 96% of pages make up what many refer to as the “Invisible Internet,” “Invisible Web” or “Deep Web.” This massive subsection of the Internet is 500 times bigger than the visible Web and is not indexed by search engines like Google.

Finding sites on this invisible network of webpages isn’t easy as a result, so it’s often home to nefarious services like “Silk Road.” There’s plenty more to the Deep Web than that, however, and an infographic posted recently by WhoIsHostingThis — the same group that recently taught us how to disappear online — does a good job of detailing the basics, including how to access this mysterious network of hidden sites with a special Web browser like Tor.

The full infographic follows below.

I use a VPN for various purposes, mostly not nefarious.

DuckDuckGo is the best search engine ever.
