Minuteman Watch Co. has just announced pre-orders for their new series of automatic watches to be watches to be assembled in the United States. This is their second automatic watch and uses a smooth and reliable Miyota 9015. It is Japanese of course, but Minuteman will test and tune the movements in the US. All models will have 42mm stainless steel cases and bracelets, sapphire crystals with internal anti-reflective coating, screw-down crowns, lumed hands and markers, and a water resistance crating of 200m. The price is $399 for the the first 30 days of the pre-sale.

The models are illustrated below. They all look great but the gray and vintage lume Jedburgh catches my eye. It was named for Operation Jedburgh which was a combined effort that took place during World War II, in which personnel of the British Special Operations Executive, the U.S. Office of Strategic Services, the Free French Bureau Central de Renseignements et d'Action ("Intelligence and operations central bureau") and the Dutch and Belgian Armies were dropped by parachute into occupied France, the Netherlands and Belgium to conduct sabotage and guerrilla warfare, and to lead the local resistance forces in actions against the

Germans.

Or, if you can do without the pink dial, you can buy a Hammy Khaki King, on bracelet, Swiss made, by a company that's been around for longer than thirty days, for $24 less at Jomashop.
I checked you out, and I now want you to take the journey to lick my taint. It's small, but vast.

Somehow, I don't see a link anywhere between la résistance and the Pink Panther, unless, perhaps, Peter Sellers was a part of it while perfecting his role as Clousseau... :???:

Ambitious, but rubbish. Wait, no. Not ambitious. Just rubbish. Or at least spectacularly boring.
