A dollar seems like a lot of money. Does/did Omega make any Devilles with gold plating, as opposed to solid gold?

It's an early 1970s De Ville - the case is a front-loader (unishell), as it should in any 1960s/1970s De Ville or Seamaster De Ville. No movement picture = pass.

The seller admits that the dial is repainted. Not badly, I'll give it that, at least quality-wise. However, originally it was probably silver with black printing.

These repainted SMDVs and DVs from South Korea are a plague. Over-restored, every single one of them. They're not fake, but they're still lemons.
