birthday gift/accident

birthday gift/accident

Postby nimbleboy » July 18th 2018, 7:02am

I’m headed to Albert Lea in southern MN, USA on Saturday for my nephew’s birthday party. It’s at my brother’s in-laws’ house and the forecast calls for a 100% chance of macaroni salad.

Birthdays, weddings, funerals, graduations, holidays- one salad fits all in Albert Lea!

I usually get my nephew a hockey stick or a watch for his birthday and Xmas. His hockey sticks now cost about the same as a low-end grey market Hamilton, and that’s not in my budget. Hello, Seiko! But I changed it up this year.

I keep seeing these Citizens advertised and aesthetically, they’re right up his alley. I ordered a black-dialed one about a month ago and it got lost in the mail. So I ordered another. They both showed up within a few days of each other, so I got a new watch! I like the simple, if a bit boring, dial. The bracelet is a bit noisy, but I don’t mind. I think it’s running fast. The lume is terrible (nonexistent).

Is it safe?

Nice! The mac salad looks good, too!
I checked you out, and I now want you to take the journey to lick my taint. It's small, but vast.

Not to fret, a lot of birthdays were accidents..................

Huh, what?

It would have been the perfect afternoon if those jagoffs from Greenpeace hadn't showed up and tried to roll me back into the Puget Sound - conj

Has the clean, classy look of the Hammy Intramatic. Noice!

Safe travels, man.

And the fact I'm still living rent free in his head makes me grin and giggle.

I dig that a lot. I think it would look nice on a black leather strap.

I have a Citizens watch that looks very similar that I received it from Big Love and wear it a lot. I also have a couple others I like the brand. I'm sure your nephew will love it. I feel that a watch as a gift will create fond memories and a bond between the two of you, I also love macaroni salad :D
