My first mechanical watch

My first mechanical watch

Postby ChuckO » May 1st 2018, 7:18pm

I saw this on the internet locally and decided to treat myself to an early birthday present. No box no papers, but it was priced right.

Nice. Congratulations. Mine came without box and papers, too. Then I paid $40 at the Omega boutique for an additional link because the previous owner didn't keep those either. But now I'm set to keep it for the long term. I have box and papers for many of my watches and they come in handy for resale. But for anything that is a long term keeper, the box just takes up space. I have a beautiful wooden box for my Planet Ocean, just sitting in the dark of a cupboard. I think that design is one that is destined to be a long term classic design. As long as Omega keeps the line going and doesn't mess with the design too much in the coming years, I think this one will become like most Rolexes, a design that perseveres.

Big congrats; you have a classic. Good job.
Since many people weren't in lockstep with his beloved cheese box shit watch brand, The Cruise King ran off blowing snot bubbles, far away from his once-beloved forum. Here, eat this mudpie, Paw Paw. It tastes like a Hershey bar. Go ahead, dig in.

You can't go wrong with an SMP!
I checked you out, and I now want you to take the journey to lick my taint. It's small, but vast.

A classic beauty..I understand that the Watch Gods are giving it an 'all thumbs up', as well...
