I may be half commie but I support good citizenship

My Citizen "The Citizen" arrived from down under in five days. It is very hard to judge this watch without GS in the back burners of my tepid brain cells. So I will start off saying it is not as hot as a Zaratsu baby, it lacks that deft move from polished to brushed and in between. The dial is a very crisp silver white with beautifully polished hands and indices. The power reserve, which is kind of a spoof is very well placed. I would say the dial is crisper and better laid out than GS, though the dial itself is generically round. The bracelet is uniformly brushed, no tricky interplay. Very solid build and I need to size it but the fit seems really well done. +6 seconds a year, eco drive battery, jumping hour sweet hour change on crown for time zones, 37mm dial and ten mm thick. A lot of watch for what I paid.

Very nice. I have a Signature Citizen and it always impresses on the wrist.

Like that watch. Saw a similar one at Watchrecon a while back. Looks like it might be a keeper for you......

It really does echo GS. Beautiful watch and a great size. The clasp is a dead ringer for GS.

Not too shabby for a commie. I dig that a lot.

Yep. That's one of the most handsome watches to grace these portals in many a moon. Seriously.
