New Chr Ward; errr... Christopher Ward C60.

Had my eye on Christopher Ward for sometime now, but never able to pull the trigger. Alas; a few too many Yuenglings, a late night email with a link to a New Years sale, and a barely functioning webiste lead to this showing up at my door 2 weeks later...

First impressions are decent. Screwey GMT bezel not withstanding, it seems to be a nice piece. Compares favorably to my Steinhart Ocean One, with a nicer bracelet/clasp, applied indicies, and more comfortable curved lugs. Not a fan of the new logo, but not really a complete deal breaker either.

Not the worst purchase I've made. May end up being a catch & release, but I'll hang on to it for a bit and see how it grows on me.

A nice one. It's also nice that somebody we know was able to actually buy something during that appalling sale.

That's a nice looking watch. I like the ceramic bezel on those. Prefer the previous logo, but at those sale prices, certainly works. Congrats.

Good for you in getting through and getting one. I like the dial, not bad at all, I'm a sucker for the wave pattern. I really like the hands on it too.

I really like the general design of it - only if it was me, I wouldn't get past that bezel. It's not really useful for timing with only the first quarter indexed, and not really useful as a GMT, since the 24h scale had a fourth of it replaced by the minute markers for the first quarter. Wouldn't get past my OCD.

If they only would redesign the bezel, this would be likely one of the most - if not the most - attractive and well-made GMT at this price point. Well, it's still extraordinarily well-made, and looks good (if someone isn't of the obsessive-compulsive type like I am).

Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
