Quick Release straps

My NOA has quick release straps and trying to find a replacement was quite the challenge until last year. Renato used to have them late in their game but other than very few companies finding them was a bitch. NOA tried charging $600USD for the original ones on my watch.

Opinions on them?

We might want to post some sites that have them as well.

C Ward uses them and they are pretty handy. No worries about mucking up the lugs or the leather strap ends. However, I am wary of rounding out fatter spring bar holes like you find on some Seiko divers.

Beat me to it. With some watches you have to use the intended spring bars or you're just asking for trouble. Pretty much why I draw the line at my cheaper watches for quick release straps.
