JtN© wrote:Ya know with it not being what they said it was now it is really nothing more than just another Asian made chronograph movement in a watch that is now way way way way way way way way way way way way way overpriced for an Asian chronograph.
With that simple plain Asian chronograph movement it should have never been more than $149. I think Eyal had this planned from the beginning to go down like this and he needed to do that so that he could make up for some past serious profit losses due to other major screwed up design flaws in other watches.

There may be a lot of truth in this statement, but I think they are also very concerned about being outed and embarrassed at Basel over this, in front of the entire horological world (not that both won't still happen).

It is no longer anything special at all other than a now way way way way way way way way way way way way way overpriced Asian watch.

Sadly, you are correct in your assessment! The truth be told though, the Invicta machine is laughing at both sides on this. If WG's is considered the sheep and WL's is considered the wolves...they win both going and coming. Perhaps one day justice will prevail and IWG will get theirs. At least many of you guys are fighting the good fight of holding them to the fire. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if in this case they policed themselves before Koi and others found it out. After all, it's easier to ask forgiveness than permission. Seriously....why does Invicta keep on claiming things that's not correct and then when enough arguments are raised all over watch forums, then a "clarification thread" comes up correcting the initial claims.
It has happened in the past with FF, Tritnite, Swiss Made controversy, sandstone dials, etc.
For once, please stop claiming things which are not.......its no surprise most people outside ShopNBC circle and this forum, will never touch any Invicta by a mile.
As much as I defend this brand on other watch forums, these things don't help in any way.
To think people unknowingly believed this was a "v7750 equivalent".
On top of that, I believe Jim mentioned that this movement may have been more expensive to implement than V7750. Any links to support that?
Thanks.
