Junghans enjoyed a truly successful launch of the Junghans Meister Driver Handaufzug and the Meister Pilot Event Edition. The series model of the Meister Pilot is now also on the runway. The distinctive design elements of the Junghans pilot watch from the 1950s are to be found in the series model of the Meister Pilot.

The elegant and discreet design of the case and the flowing shape of the lugs focus the attention of the pilot on the large time display. The domed sapphire crystal provides an ideal view of the clear luminescent numerals and distinctive hands. The watch enables good legibility, even in poor lighting conditions and at night.

On the dial is featured a bi-compax display, the two totalizers of which are laid out on the 3-9 axis. Junghans addressed the high aviation needs of pilots in the 1930s, when the company produced on-board clocks for air traffic use. These were manufactured in level 7 of the now heritage-listed terrace building, the structure offered optimal lighting conditions for the delicate task of watchmaking
