Zodiac owner for 34 years

Zodiac owner for 34 years

Postby foghorn » March 1st 2010, 1:03pm

I have been a Zodiac owner since 1976.
This Seawolf was the first "good" watch I ever bought.
I was pretty nervous back then, parting with 105.00 for a watch.

These are the ones I currently own after selling a few. There are a couple more I will probably sell and a few more I'd like to own, although low priority at this moment. Among the most affordable Swiss Made watches, unique styling, and decent quality.

Just received my first Z Saturday, a blue-dial Oceanaire on bracelet. I really like it!

I have the black dial, and it's a great watch.

Always liked Zodiac's bang for the buck, but never saw any of their styles that grabbed me. The ZMX-02 was about as close as I got after seeing some really good pics of it.

That one is interesting, Datsun. Could it be from the ZMX line?

Very nice Zodiacs. I am hoping to own one or two...more in the future.

Foghorn, what is the "Fossil Era"?

The Fossil Era is the current one. Fossil inc. bought the Zodiac brand in 2001. Then they bought 3 other Swiss companies to produce the watches.

I've owned a few, including a V-Wolf and an Oceanaire. I really miss the Oceanaire. And the V-Wolf was nothing to sneeze at, either.
I checked you out, and I now want you to take the journey to lick my taint. It's small, but vast.

Just recently became a Zodiac owner. Purchased both of mine from foghorn

Wore this one a lot on my trip to Cali with my kids. Very comfortable white strap my daughter picked out notwithstanding

And a new Oceanaire with white dial just arrived. Love both of these watches. Great value for the $$$$$

Now looking at perhaps a V7750 model and another Oceanaire. Currently looking at a vintage Zodiac that is for sale at ebay. Will have to see how high it goes.

You may not like that white strap but I would really like to have one just like that, white deep reef on white rubber. I don't think you can actually buy that combo.

Nice Zodiacs. Still don't have one in my collection but will have an Oceanaire one of these days down the road. I do like the white/white combo.

Make that 42 years.

Some have left and been replaced. One was restored.

I am digging the brand loyalty. Refreshing; a small thing in life brings pleasure. Live it up, noble rooster.
