Given the prices and styling, the author makes some good points....

Impossible to go wrong with a Timex.

The Todd Snyder offerings are nice. I wish they didn't sayTodd Snyder on the dial though.

Agree....I also like this one, which I believe is a re-issue model (not sure however)

Timex has always issued watches that worked, sold in places that would back them if there was a problem. And frankly, in my mind I respect a person a whole lot more if she or he is wearing a Timex on the wrist than an Invicta - at least I've never seen a Timex that was a rip-off of someone else's design.
Since many people weren't in lockstep with his beloved cheese box shit watch brand, The Cruise King ran off blowing snot bubbles, far away from his once-beloved forum. Here, eat this mudpie, Paw Paw. It tastes like a Hershey bar. Go ahead, dig in.

"Takes a licking and keeps on ticking."
Didn't Timex put one on an outboard motor propeller one time???
As a kid I had one and still think they are a great value. I've recently bought a couple of the Dyna-Beats ---- only a couple of bucks and they work.
