CREPAS Plongeur Extreme Dive Watch

Postby koimaster » October 25th 2018, 8:41am

CREPAS Plongeur Extreme Dive Watch with ETA 2824-2 Elaboré This was fully funded in 15 minutes but still plenty of early bird specials left.

SWISS MADE timepiece. Unique opportunity to get our first ceramic bezel watch! Limited early bird slots! Fantastic stretch goals!!

CREPAS WATCHES is proud to launch the first CREPAS model on Kickstarter, a product which combines Plongeur’s characteristic design, marked by refined and vigorous features, with a complication standing for technical innovation, the helium valve release, that will allow you to keep the watch safe in a decompression chamber. The timepiece retains the brand’s most distinctive peculiarities, introducing remarkable additional elements such as the cereamic inlay bezel.

CREPAS WATCHES designs and manufactures technical diving watches for extreme divers since nine years ago. All the designs are inspired by old models that are currently unattainable for most collectors, due to their scarcity or very high prices.

Our clients are watch collectors, amateur and professional divers, members of watch forums and private watch groups. This is the first time we offer a design open to a collective like Kickstater.

CREPAS WATCHES markets its designs directly to the final client, without intermediaries. Kickstarter is perfect for us to continue maintaining contact with the customer.

Wasn't Crepas one of those WUS forum darlings a few years ago? If so, why are they bothering with this kickstarter shit?
I checked you out, and I now want you to take the journey to lick my taint. It's small, but vast.

Too bad a stretch goal couldn’t be an indexed bezel used for diving.

Why not suggest it to them via kickstarter. I understand Crepas is easy to work with.

It’s made after the Zenith S.58 and it didn’t have a bezel like that. I think the Italian military first bought them. I can understand them wanting to make the bezel like the inspiration, but why make it a 1000m watch? Just sounds like a waste to me. Would inspiration made useable be a terrible thing though?

Nope. A lot of watch companies when they do re-issues or homages might want to take that advice to heart. Only Crepas to date that I like, the Cayman.
