Swedish Dive Watch -Huvudskär Automatic

Postby koimaster » October 24th 2018, 10:12am

We proudly present the second collection of Belos Watches - Huvudskär Automatic 40 - A powerful dive watch packed with technical features and sophisticated details suitable for all occasions.

Back in 2016, we launched our first collection - Utö Automatic 40 - and thanks to our Kickstarter backers, the Belos shop is open since September the same year. The work behind Huvudskär Automatic 40 started the same day our first collection entered the commercial market. A lot of the backers, and also customers along the way, were longing for a timeless automatic diver. Some wanted the elegant and robust steel bracelet and some wanted the sporty silicone strap. So we made it both ways!

Huvudskär Automatic 40 comes in two models, both with their own personality and charisma.

The work horse Seiko NH38A Automatic is one of the world's most popular and well-reputed automatic movements. Seiko has been developing mechanical movements for more than 100 years and diving movements since the 1950s. The NH38A exceeds the ISO Dive Watch Standard requirements:
• Antimagnetic resistance: The movement must be able to run with minimal deviation when exposed to a certain level of magnetic field. The movement must remain unaffected by a DC (direct current) field of 4,800A/m (= 60 Gauss).
• Shock resistance: The watch must maintain time and operation after surviving a one meter drop onto a wood floor.
• Depth resistance: The watch needs to be able to remain water tight at a certain pressure for a set time.
