It is with deep sorrow that I share that our friend Connie Kunkle has passed away at age 58. Barely two years ago, this bright, vibrant dynamo was diagnosed with early onset dementia, which is very aggressive and progresses quickly. This the only blessing of this horrible and cruel disease. After becoming great buddies in the original cast of the long-running nightclub show “Broadway at The Top” at Disney’s Contemporary Resort Hotel, Connie went on to star on Broadway and touring companies, sang around the world and in recent years was the top-grossing on-air host for ShopNBC (now Evine). She has been living with her sisters and, most recently, in a memory care facility in Texas. Arrangements will be forthcoming and after the 1st of the year. I will post a link to her proper obituary when it becomes available. It has been the choice of Connie and her family not to share her struggle publicly, but please now help spread the word through your respective circles.

Said to hear she was only 58 that's still young. A neighbor's wife as dementia and the family refused to put her in a nursing home she 63. One day she was laughing
and having a good time then the next she just forgot who her kids were couldn't remember their names, her name, stopped feeding herself etc. Luckily her daughters
and husband take care of her. My Aunts father died of this back in 2012 at 74?

Her FB had a picture of her and Nvicter Ryan with two young girls
I know he had said his daughter turned 16 just yesterday the pic was
from 08. If he was married to her he never mentioned it not that's anyone's
business but I would be surprised if he was she was 58 and he looks like he's
no older then 44? Even Shawn Wilisie commented on the pic and said Ryan you
better be thanking the good lord for this daily.

Man, that's a tough deal.

I never knew she had all that previous legit show-biz career stuff goin' on, but that Disney-creepy affect is really apparent in retrospect.

RIP

Lost a friend to early onset dementia a few years back. He was in his 50s, also. A man who was as gentle as any human I have known, owned a pet store and was a dog-whisperer. Suddenly became very violent.

Utterly heartbreaking.

One of my heroes, Terry Jones of Monty Python, has been diagnosed with dementia as well.

Very sad.
I bought a dive watch from them that literally had “dive” in the name. The instructions said not to dive with it - it was only meant to LOOK like a dive watch. It was also fast by more that a minute per day. Garbage. Never again. - IWG buyer on Reddit
