“62MAS” PADI Special Edition Diver

“62MAS” PADI Special Edition Diver

Seiko had a hit on its hands when it introduced the first PADI dive watch, the result of a tie-up with the dive training organisation. That spawned a series of watches, with the latest based on the “62MAS” remake, now clad in the PADI colours of red and blue.

The Prospex PADI Special Edition 200m (ref. SPB071J1) has a graduated blue dial that darkens towards the base, along with a stamped wave motif. The minute hand is in red, as are the markers at the quarters, while the bezel has a blue coating.

Interestingly, I was prepared to hate it even as I clicked the link. Then I did, and got a boner.

I’d like to see it with a blue bezel insert
