Grand Seiko Hi-Beat GMT SBGJ203

Grand Seiko Hi-Beat GMT SBGJ203

Video and article at link.

If you were looking for a go-anywhere-do-anything type watch (and honestly, aren’t we all?), then a stylistically versatile steel GMT on a bracelet would tick a lot of the boxes. And as far as versatile steel GMTs go, there aren’t too many options that offer quite as much as Grand Seiko’s SBGJ203. It’s got the looks: a distinctive, angular and exceptionally well-finished 40mm case, paired with a rich dial that sets an exceptionally high bar for the competition.

$5675 from Seiya, looks great without the power reserve on Spring Drives. The dial is gorgeous.

Sweet Jeebus. I just bought my wife a golf cart to use to tool about the neighborhood. For only double the price this GS could be mine.

I think I need the watch more; but, gotta' keep the wife happy.

Damn, that is fine.

How restrained a look is that for a GMT

That is as sweet as you could hope for

After having the opportunity to handle a few GS a couple of months ago, I can assure you of one thing - they don't photograph half as stunning as they really look. Some of the spiffiest hands I've seen on a dial, ever.
