Fall Charity Auction, the Seventh! ENDS TONIGHT!

Fall Charity Auction, the Seventh! ENDS TONIGHT!

Postby conjurer » May 9th 2019, 8:08pm

After a little time off to take care of some shit, it's time for a new charity auction! Please read the rules here: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=43368

As before, half the proceeds of this auction will go to Shriner's Children's hospitals, the other half for upkeep of WL and the new BDWF, as Alain sees fit.

Here we go:

Bulova Accutron II:

I believe this big boy is one of the Precisionist models, but I don't know for sure, as it needs a battery. Let me repeat that: THIS WATCH NEEDS A NEW BATTERY. There. On to the specs: The cushion style case is 43mm across, 48mm with either crown, but a very wearable 47mm lug to lug. It is 13.5mm thick and the lugs are 22mm. The top crown revolves the internal bezel, the bottom crown sets the time and date. WR is 200 meters. It's a very pretty watch, and comes with box and extra links. Oh, and the battery's shot. It needs a battery change.

A Bunch of Digitals:

So, as you can see, these watches (being sold as a lot) include a Pulsar, a couple of Casios, and the white one I don't know what the fuck it is. Some sort of smart watch, I guess, but I don't know how my fucking toaster works, so don't ask me. The three non-white watches work in good order, although there is some wear and tear. No boxes or papers.

Seapro Automatic Diver:

Back in the early days, Danny Blair (aka The Watch Commander) used to sell these by the bushel on the old SAH shopping network. He was best known for his Oceanaut brand, as well as his weird turns of phrase, like "those are some factual facts!" or, "this watch is undestructable!" Seapro was his lower-end line, and for a made-in-China TV watch, these things were remarkably good. With the historically important and now surprisingly rare Miyota 8215 movement, these Seapros were pretty much bulletproof. This one is 42.5mm across, 46.5mm with crown, 51mm lug to lug, 13.5mm thick, with 22mm lug width. This one has seen some use, with a few dings on the clasp that have eaten through the IP black plating. This watch comes with extra links, but no box or papers.

Right, then. This auction will run until Saturday, 18 May, ending precisely at 8:00PM Pacific time. Bid often, bid high, and have some fun!

I checked you out, and I now want you to take the journey to lick my taint. It's small, but vast.

OK, let's goose things along here:

Bully, $40, Me

Seapro, $40, Me

Digitals, $20, Me.

Let's all remember that the proceeds of this auction helps little kids, sick in the hospital, and the continuation of both WL and the new BDWF.
