This might be the reason the watch hasn't sold.

Quote from a WUS sales post. Decent watch at a decent pprice but bumped for 3 weeks.

"Watch is located in Singapore. I will pack it well and ship with Singpost. However, disclaimer would be it's out of my hands once I ship it."

In other words --- I will tell you I shipped the wartch, and I'll provide you with a 'Singpost' tracking number, but I won't.

You better buy two, in case one doesn’t make it.

That sounds like an honest-to-God real post at WatchGeeks years ago, where an Invicta buyer, in all seriousness, posted that he bought three watches of the same model just in case the other two didn't work. I think the others here can vouch for this, but it's true.
I would rather be seen wearing an Invicta than a Hublot - at least I can explain away the Invicta.

That’s what it reminded me of too.

What's worse is that they're not making that stuff up. I can remember reading at least one post endorsing the practice.

One SNBC host, noted for a propensity for dislocating his mandible, openly encouraged purchasing several executions of the same model and keeping only the pick of the litter. It didn't take long for the audience to expand the suggestion to include several of the exact same thing. One would give all three a shake and keep the one whose hour markers didn't dislodge.

Fortunately (or perhaps not) at least one member of the follow-up forum kept extensive archives without which many of the tales would be rightly considered incredible.
And the fact I'm still living rent free in his head makes me grin and giggle.
