My First Trade Ever

My First Trade Ever

Postby artman » April 16th 2018, 5:51pm

Usually when I buy a watch or acquire one from dear ol' dad that watch stays with me forever. Until now. And I must say it's freakin me out a bit. I traded this Caravelle which I bought at Ross for $20...

I suspect the crown isn't original and the dial has a little smudge, but it seems to run alright. So, how did I do for my first trade?

I'm not sure, but it appears you traded a quartz fashion watch for a nice vintage automatic. The dial on the Glycine is gorgeous.

Did you do good?

Nice job.

Jaysus H. Christ, you didn't only do good, you stuck it in and broke it off! Excellent job!

You guys are too kind. Thanks for the words of encouragement. Anyone recognize the logo on the crown? It works just fine, but it bugs me.
