I absolutely adore lines like that. Two of my favorites are from the Thin Man series of movies from the 1930s and 40s. The humor (much like the Marx Brothers' movies) translates VERY well today.

Nick Charles: You see, when it comes to words like that, an illiterate person...
Polly Byrnes: Whaddaya mean "illiterate"? My father and mother were married right here in the city hall!

Lieutenant John Guild: You got a pistol permit?
Nick Charles: No.
Lieutenant John Guild: Ever heard of the Sullivan Act?
Nora Charles: Oh, that's all right, we're married.

From the Beverly Hillbillies:

"Hello Mr. Clampett, I'm Justin Addison."

Jed's reply, "That's OK, I'm just a Clampett."

Add me in I guess, I hate to feel like I'm missing something. Even though the dogma is sometimes maddening, I have occasionally taken a new look at an issue or viewpoint. BTW-I really take issue with the notion of singling Cheez out in an arena in which he has much company.

Let me get this straight. A new political sub-forum that has nothing to do with watches on a watch forum.
No thanks, I come here to get away from all that political bullshit we are inundated with every day.
