Japanese Domestic Watch Series

Postby koimaster » October 31st 2017, 8:12am

Starting from 1996 Dragonfly Publishing released a series of books focused upon the Japanese domestic watch industry. Each book has the same layout with a color photo section of about twenty pages and then the remainder of the book is text and B/W photos describing the calibers with details such as production dates, variations, jewels and dial variations. These are an excellent resource with a few of the books still available but some of the volumes, covering the high-end models like Grand Seiko, are very hard to locate. Luckily some of these volumes are being re-issued and updated, so are now much easier to source. Hopefully the remaining non-Seiko volumes of this series will be reprinted in the future.
