MeisterSinger Lunascope

Postby koimaster » April 18th 2018, 10:49pm

The MeisterSinger Lunascope upholds the brand’s penchant for single-hand watches. However, where this timepiece differentiates itself from its siblings is with the addition of a large-format moon-phase display. Recently, whilst attending Baselworld 2018, Angus Davies tried on this watch for size and appraised its unique presentation of time.

"Provides a general indication of the prevailing time" I like it - 3-ish, 4-ish and so on - but the moon phase is so accurate it doesn't need to be corrected for 128 years. Hands down quirky - oh, wait....

This honestly is true: Christmastime 2016 I saw a MeisterSinger in a freakin' clearance counter at a Nordstrom Rack; to this moment I don't know why I didn't grab it, buy it and run. Probably coulda flipped it for three times what they were selling it for.

As for this one ... oh, wait -

If it would have had a jump hour, it wouldn’t be half bad. Not that a few things about it don’t need some De-Ghey Spray, but with a few changes, could be decent.

Frankly, I don’t get the point of watches with one hand only.
