Three Designers, Three Limited-Edition Rado Watches

Postby Racer-X » May 23rd 2017, 1:49pm

by Mark Bernardo "Rado is known to most knowledgeable watch enthusiasts as a brand that pioneered the use of ceramics in watchmaking. However, Rado also prides itself on its commitment to avant-garde design, both in its own products and in other fields. This year, the brand teamed with three of today’s hottest designers to produce three very unique limited-edition timepieces in its True collection. Here’s a closer look."

Love the middle one except the hour/minute hands are just too short. Oddly, I really like the blingy one.

Not enough to pay those prices though

It looks like Movado and Rado had a weekend fling.

I like the hands on the middle one...and nothing else. That's some ugly, fucking bling there.

All three of those watches contain none of the design elements I covet, and the prices seem a bit on the high side as well.

So why the fuck do I actually like two of 'em? Cripes!

I think I need some rest, not to mention some hot steamy grindin' or somethin'.

Well, goddamn it, T, after the week you New Yawkers have had, I think you deserve a good hump.

I looked at all three of these Rados again; I took some time to really study the shit out of them--and they still make me fucking spew.

I like them, dislike the low beat Caliber C07.6119, even with the 80hours PR...I prefer the original 2824-2 high beat, much better

Even after some rest, I still like the latter two. For $500 I would likely give one a go just to play with the ceramics.
