Sunday Dive: Point Peron 10-11-2013 - Sinn U1

Postby bedlam » November 10th 2013, 7:01am

The heat arrived in Western Australia today so it was good to hit the water. Point Peron is in open coast and can only really be dived in swell under a meter. The swell was 0.4m and the wind was 6kph...perfect. The sea grass and weed is prolific here but not many fish varieties. Caves and swim-throughs are a highlight. The water temp was 20C and the vis about 11m. Took the Sinn U1 on Isofrane. The U1 is definitely one of my favourites these days. Its a solid watch with no real weak-points and performs brilliantly in real-world use.

This Stingray was about 7ft across, but not a great quality shot as he came though quickly while my camera was in macro mode...by the time I adjusted he was getting away

Great dive shots. The Sinn has great visibility underwater.

Lucky you!

Excellent pics, Carl. That ray looks like good eatin'.

Never tried one to be honest John, but I respect your priorities in such matters. If it could possibly be eaten, its worth trying!

I don't really care for Sinn, but the pics are awesome like always man. The coral and the lobster shots are terrific.

Your photos are always an absolutely treat. The watch looks great, too, and it obviously is a good choice for your advocation. Just awesome, bed, honestly. Always such a treat to see your work.
