AMCHPR.com site redesign...

Postby AlbertaTime » August 19th 2015, 9:23am

Hi all:

Been incredibly busy since I got back from China, lotsa news to tell and lots upcoming.

http://www.amchpr.com

The site is in progress as I port stuff from old to new, but I went live with the new design so I could add new stuff, like this article on the China Watch and Clock Fair:

Hope you enjoy!

I like it. Your site is a gem.

A very nice new site! Peace River looks purty, too. I figured there'd be a lot of igloos and bears and shit.

Thanks for the very kind words, folks.

Like I said, it's not finished at all ( for example, the separate posts on each trip haven't been ported over yet, and lots of photos still need captions) but I'm happy with it so far.

As for Weebly, which is what I'm using for my design software on this...it's not perfect and lacks some flexibility, but it is very good and I can easily live within the constraints. It's a worth contender if you need a site and already have some code and design skills.

Like the new look.
