Shanghai Noon featuring Roy Rogers at the AMCHPR...

This watch resides at the AMCHPR, too. I'm not sure if I've hauled it our before, here.

It's new photos anyways, and there's no real way to be in a bad mood when you're wearing it, so...

This is a rarer lenticular (sorta 3D moving) dial variant of a 1950s licenced Roy Rogers watch, evidently made by the Bradley company which was a part of Ingraham at the time, with a dial produced by the Varivue company.

Thanks to RoyRogersWorld for the wristwatch info.

It's mechanical and keeps time to about 5 minutes off in a daytime, which isn't bad considering it's a toy made for 5 year olds, which was how old I was when I got one for the first time. My aunt who lived in Chicago brought one to me when I was a kid living on Vancouver Island. Major street cred in early elementary school in the 50s ;-).
The second time took a bit of hunting, and I was lots older.

That is a cool and unique piece you have. And it looks like a very well conditioned one at that. The dial looks like needlepoint.

Thanks, Ed and fatman, It's fun to wear but I'm very careful with it.
