Visiting w/ Old Friends from the Vault - Bandwidth Sucker

Postby tiktok » January 8th 2018, 4:10pm

Went to the bank and opened up my stash of watch toyz. My taste was kind of eclectic which was kewl but a bitch if you are looking to flip anything and value is in the love of the watch not in the retention.

Without further adieu, some oldies and very lovely goodies.

Nubeo Jellyfish 43, with a Valjoux mvmt with no chrono on dial, 40 layer case and based on the dna of jellyfish.

Bell & Ross Vintage 126. This is the original model NOS from 1999, not the subsequent and cheezy look-alike :x . This has Lemania mvmt and gorgeous bracelet.

That B&R makes my nipples tingle. Damn, B&R has made decent looking non-square watches.

Sometimes, choosing a watch is like choosing a mate; who is to judge where a guy's dick points him? Alas, this does not necessarily translate into purchases that prove to be fiscally sound. I myself have made plenty of purchases like that. There's really nothing you can do; to be fiscally sound is usually to be boring. And what's the point of the hobby when it's boring?

Mr. Ticker is a collector of note; no one can ever say that his choices are boring.
