I bought this Polo outfit for him like 6 months before he was born to match mine and it finally fits him!

Now if I can find a tiny Seiko to go with it we'll be set.

Just got word that my mom will be buying her mother's house when she passes so my mother will be selling me her house at that time. So within a year or so, no more apartment living! A.J. will be growing up in the same bedroom in which I grew up, learning how to play baseball in the same backyard in which I learned, learning how to box in the same basement in which I learned.

I'm pretty stoked.

After the tiny Seiko, all he needs then is a young pup to grow up with..

I already have a 2.5 year old German Shepherd/Terrier/Chow mix that someone left on the side of the road as a newborn pup.

I lived with my mom for a couple months recently between apartments and during that period I found her dog dead on the kitchen floor and had to bury him and break the news to my mom.

It killed her as she lives alone and her dogs are everything to her. She fell in love with my dog Auggie so when I moved out I told my mom if she would prefer, I could let her live there with her so she has company. She's still living there now and while I miss her, seeing my mom happy is worth it.

When I move into this house I'm getting my mom her own puppy as a surprise thank you and Auggie will stay with us so that A.J. will have a pup with whom to run around the backyard. Also the house is an 11 block walk through a quaint colonial town to a huge park along the Delaware River. When A.J. grows up he can take her for walks at the park like I did when I was a kid and lived there and had a Jack Russell named Fred.

--

P.S. I already have his first watch picked out. A little pricey for a Seiko 5 but 38-39mm and pretty thin. Gents-esque case. Classic dial and hands. Dad might borrow it on occasion.

I have to hurry as they are becoming more rare and expensive every day.

Sharing your dog is an awesome thing. The small stuff people do when nobody is really looking says lots. You are good people Andrew, and your son is fortunate to be getting the start you are trying to give him.

It brings a smile to my face when shit goes right for people.
