Greetings from Brexit Land

Greetings from Brexit Land

Postby relaxer7 » February 17th 2017, 3:13am

Morning Gents,

I'm Rich from the UK. I've always had a passing interest in watches but over the last few years it' become a bit more involved (i.e. expensive and slightly obsessive!). I've got a modest collection of mostly dive watches - some of which have actually been in the sea as well as desk diving.

I'm a member of a couple of other UK forums but have always thought this one looked a good laugh and had a nice variety of watches and opinion so thought I'd join up and make it official like :)

So far I own this little lot:
Seiko SKX033
Seiko SSC015P1
Geckota K3 V04
Hamilton Khaki
Orient Crystal "King Diver"
Omega Seamaster 2254
Tag Heuer F1 Grand Date
SuperSwiss 60's diver
Tudor Black Bay Blue - Which I have on today :D

Nice part of the country, I remember boat fishing up there and seeing a basking shark about 12 feet long, and I "did" the Cleveland Way back in the late 1980's. I'll be up that way for a week this summer with the family, at Whitby.

I think we'll do just fine and so far there seems to be plenty of countries lining up to trade with us. Only problem at the moment is the depressed £GBP which makes it damn expensive to buy anything outside the UK.
