Hello

Postby bobbee » November 30th 2016, 1:07pm

Hello there, my name's Bob and I'm from Derbyshire in England.
I collect mainly vintage watches, mostly mechanical but I have some quartz too. I used to specialise in Bulova, then got interested in early stuff.
They're not up to much, but here are some pics of a few of my watches.

Cheers, Bob.

1950's Precimax, 1950's Nivada Antarctic, 1960's Zodiac, 1960's Oris.

Thanks for looking.

Welcome to the forum. I have seen some of your posts at mybulova.com in the past. Nice collection. We have quite a few vintage collectors on the forum but I would watch out for Mort, the dead guy. He likes to swipe things from the living.

Welcome, goddamn it!

A great first post: he says who he is, shows a few pics, Badda-boom, just like that. It's too bad all newbies couldn't post like this.

Welcome to you. Those "Geneve" Omega pieces from the 70s are some of the better pieces they made then; those movements will long outlive the rest of the watch. Nice collection, by any means.

Welcome Bobbie. I only clicked on your thread to hassle you about your super-ghey screen name. But that's actually a good introduction post. So forget I said anything.

That's me, and I go to fancy dress parties naked and painted brown with a rope around my neck.

Yeah, and when a rabbit hid in my arse I changed it to Warren...

@Racer-X,
thanks for the welcome and glad you like the Zodiac. I too love it for the simple yet clean and tasteful lines.
