I always say go big or go home.

lost 2 seconds today. Stays on the 40 hour reserve all the time. Already had the joke about chronic masturbation and wound watches, but it is on my left wrist.....

Minus two seconds is pretty good, especially if you're whacking off a lot with it on.

Someone must have been a bad boy. I hit this web site from a different isp and I got a "You have been banned"! Logged on with different isp, all good.
An isp can have 1000s of subscribers right?

Really? Hmm, guess i will have to see what isp you are using and match it with banned users.

I'll just have to use this back up one from this spot. No biggy just not as reliable connection.
And it was an education for me. Glad I did not do any watch winding on the other one. (If you get my drift!)

check your PMs. I would be interested to know what ISP you logged in from that showed you were banned.

Where I am right now, I have 4 different isp's available. Two I know are my employer, one a nearby place that I am using as I type, and a forth one I thought was wired to somplace else, but it turns out to be my employer. So apparently, someone in my company has been banned. We have many thousands of employees.

Hmm, the ban list on this forum is about 20 people in almost 7 years now. Although I have banned several entire countries including invictaland and doxaland.

...and Waziristan.
In the space of one hour is Babylon the Great thrown down. Not a stone remained standing upon another and the reek of her burning did poison all the earth and the smoke thereof did blot out the sun so that noon-day did appear as midnight. Alas Babylon!

What would the slightly used market be on the first one? Big bath? :)

Or is this how collecting starts?......

The Orient Star GMT you linked is indeed a fine watch; I was the first guy in the Western Hemisphere to review it:

http://forums.watchuseek.com/f410/impre ... 90535.html

It's an older model, with a newer version that I posted here in this thread. Orient Star is the middle range that O offers, halfway between the standard Orient line and Royal Orient, which are rare as hen's teeth on the forums. OS uses the same movements as Orient, although they tend to be decorated, which standard O movements are not. They're also better regulated, and the case finishing and bracelets tend to be much higher quality than the standard line.

Alas, Orients, be they standard, Stars or Royals, have terrible resale value. I've flipped more than a few, and usually I've lost at least 30% of value--most of the time, I tend to get buyers from Asia willing to pay more, as they already know the value of the brand, whereas USA buyers don't.

Dr. Smells is quite right, Mr. Lost. It's perfectly fine to start a new thread when you get a new watch.
