Back to the Future with the d.m.h. Jump Hour by Dingeman’s Mechanische Horloges.

Bear with me.

Like many of you, I found my way into watches through a mixture of artistic and mechanical interest, sprinkled with heavy and roughly equivalent mixes of ennui and expendable cash. Time keeps on ticking, and I seem to be fascinated with tracking its loss.

I suppose my descent into the depths of time and money wasting timekeeping relates in some largely unexamined way to presently non-practicing existential angst, tamped down, boxed, and buried with the happy births of two children some 20 years past. (I’ve not since looked into the abyss wondering what it all’s supposed to mean.)"

Reading that verbose drivel made me want to projectile vomit. Looking at that fucking stupid, ugly, useless, trainwreck of a collection of metallic fecal matter made me want to eat my vomit so I could puke again.

Hell NO!! On all counts.

3 grand for a watch that comes with no instructions on how to use it to tell the time.
Fucking pretentious, fucking useless, fucking outrageous, pass the cabriole leg.

Of the previous watch by d.m.h. I've said it looked like something that could have been built in a shed, if it wouldn't have been built by someone who doesn't even know how to build a shed. In other words, it was shoddy, perfunctory, and pretty ghastly.

But this?

Christ on a bike! What is that?! What the fuck is that?! Some watches are just plain ghey, but at least there's some consistency to their design. And this abomination, this ghastly pile of fucking shite? As if it wasn't bad enough without the pistachio-coloured hour markers... By Jove!

What was the maker of it called? Dingus's Mechanische Horloges? Dingleberry's Mechanische Horloges?

What a revolting pile of overpriced rubbish. Bring a bucket, I may vomit. On second thoughts...bring two buckets, only one bucket won't be enough.

Found a pic of the wartchemakker:

http://montre24.com/brand/DMH/DMHwatch/

He's clearly a hipster doofus, and this wartche is a way to make us older WIS feel the way millennials feel when they ask the time and we show them our analogue watch, which they clearly don't know how to read.

They might as well. Nobody's looking at his wartche without blowing chunks.

Indeed, a rather raw finish.
Also, it shows the current time, at all times. There are not a lot of watches that do show the exact time, even when they have stopped working.

My dirty, unwiped arsehole is a mirror of that watch.
