Description of the watchobjective review

Arch-etype of Femininity

One might think that the watch industry has revealed all its facets by inventing all that can be invented. All things considered, watch connoisseurs would attest this is a wrong fact, not to mention Marc Jenni who proves us that a lot can be still re-invented. This young watchmaker, also member of A.H.C.I (Académie Horlogère des Créateurs Indépendants), made his name thanks to his previous Prologue and JJJ collections. But Marc Jenni has realized a masterstroke by addressing a more feminine audience with his new Arch collection.

Now, you are probably wondering and craving for knowing what can be so exceptional and distinctive in the Arch collection. Well, Jenni’s brainwork is to be found in a very original and unique crown, which quite simply has never be seen before and which immediately serves women’s interest. A watch crown being no friend to our beautifully polished nails, Arch offers a way to wind and set a watch without a crown.

In 2010 Jenni had introduced the Prologue collection with the crownless lateral winding system. Now, a lateral black button allows access to the selector located on the case at 4 o’clock, through which the user can select time, date or wind. This done, the ring circling the case sets the watch, acting like the well-known former crown…but with giant size!

With the lilt of Irish laughter

Every day and in every way

Now forever and ever after."
