Straight from the land of the Rising Sun, A Christmas gift for Mrs. C:

A Seiko Dolce SACM171 High Accuracy Quartz, sapphire crystal, Dia-Shield coated stainless, Caiman strap. 33mm wide and only about 5.5mm thick:

The movement is spec'd at +/- 10 seconds a year. Kudos for my main brother from another mother, Seiya-san, who got it to me in only three days.

At 33mm Conj you could borrow that sweet Seiko from your Mrs. and probably get away with it. I don't think for a skinny minute that DOLCE is any kind of deterrent either. A very thoughtful gift for such a saint of a lady. Good on ya.

Pleasantly surprised I am to see those Grand Seiko-ish three dimensional hands and cannon pinion cover.

Next you'll be buying 20x loupes.

Merry Christmas to Mrs. C.!

Thanks, all! I was pretty surprised when I opened the box the other day and saw the watch for the first time; it's remarkably pretty, and very nicely finished. Comparing this to, say, a Movado for about the same price, the Dolce is miles better, and has a far better movement as well.
