New strap!!!!

New strap!!!!

Postby foghorn » October 14th 2017, 12:09pm

The longer one is involved in"this thing of ours" the more difficult it is to add something truly new to the arsenal. This includes straps as well as those other things we collect/accumulate. During the recent deluge of Indigenous Peoples Day sales I was perusing the offerings at Nato Strap Co. and happened upon this Aviator style (supposedly an original design from when only aviators wore aviator watches.) I wasn't sold on it , but after figuring the freakin' thing out I think I like it. It's a manly summabitsch 2B shure.

Sort of a Nato/leather hybrid as it is a one piece strap, but attaches to the watch as would a regular 2 piece strap

The buckle is covered when worn.

Rivets along with a bit of the (irritating to some haters) Nato protruberence.

A bit busy on the underside but not as bad,or uncomfortable, as one might garner from the visual representation provided here.

I'm gonna keep it and break it in and it'll look wicked pissa once it gets some wrist time under its belt. (assuming that it has a belt to get the wrist time under, sodas beak)

I also ordered a regular Nato because it was a sale and you can't have too many options for any one watch.

The strap is made by Rios1931.

Here is a link that explains this manly man style far better than I.

Another sign of impending apocalypse? Foghorn comes around on NATOs. Looks good on the watch.

When you wrote "new strap" I expected to see something else, but that's nice too.
