Karlskrona Nordic Shield has arrived!

Karlskrona Nordic Shield has arrived!

Postby Rusty » May 30th 2017, 10:15am

I just took delivery of #25 Karlskrona Nordic Shield diver from Todd at Brady Straps. This is the second dive watch offering from his Karlskrona brand and is a numbered series of 50 watches to start. The first was the Baltic Shield.

Initial impressions--

-43mm--right in my wheelhouse; the sstl case seems reminiscent of a Deep Blue model from several years ago and it has drilled lugs
-Seiko NH35 movement is a workhorse
-F and F is fine for a sub-$300 watch
-It arrived in a nice, leatherette zippered pouch
-Bezel is tight but operates smoothly; it has a ceramic insert
-Lume is green and seems uniformly applied
-The sapphire crystal is slighly domed

I like that. I have looked at them before, but held off because I thought the lugs would overhang on my wrist. I'm glad to see someone here has one and I can see and hear more about it.

That's a fine looking watch from Vikingland.
