Gifted Glycine

Gifted Glycine

Postby NorthCountry » April 25th 2017, 4:31pm

My lovely, sweet darling wife, has just completed at the age of 51 (sorry honey), a master's degree program for healthcare administration. To honor this achievement we are soon headed to Vegas to celebrate. Today she handed me a gift bag. This was inside. Also a card in which she told me why I deserved this watch. She actually pays attention when I drone on and on about watches and must have been paying particularly close to glean this out of the pablum which usually spews forth. Ya know, I feel blessed and proud of her accomplishments. I babble....so here it is.

Damn!

Lucky guy! Congrats.

Congrats!

Kind as my wife genuinely is, she really doesn't pay any attention to my watch interests.

Most excellent, Mr. Country. It continues to amaze me that so many of us have wives who put up with our shit.

Thanks so much for your kind words. I am very grateful for her patience and love. I'll be wearing this one for a few days. Gotta get that strap broken in. Pretty impressed with the watch so far. Also, its my first from the brand.

Man, both the story and the watch are almost too good. Nice going.

Congrats to the wife on her degree. Kudos to you for supporting her efforts and dreams.

Fantastic that she puts attention and effort into understanding and oarticipating in your hobby.

The wife starts on her MBA here this fall through LSU. Excited for her. After she is done I may well do the same.
