Postby abduksion » April 5th 2017, 2:32pm

I decided to give the brand a try its called the Ingersoll Sam I don't know much about the brand but apparently its part of
their sapphire collection with sapphire crystals both front and back. Sorry about the picture quality.

GMT can be set to a different TZ and has a 12/24 subdial for the second timezone date at the 2 O'clock
Power Reserve between the 8 and 11 O'clock position blue steel hands Limited Edition like most Ingersoll's
Blue cabochon crown style crown sapphire crystals front and back and 30m of WR's.

I like that Ingersoll is still going strong, and with some good looking watches too.
Great score buddy.

I like Ingersoll watches, but never understood the whole let's-name-everything-"Bison"-and-give-it-a-number thing. I have a very nice mechanical chronograph from them, and have loved it ever since I picked it up about five years ago. Anyhow, it looks like a very nice GMT, Kev. Enjoy the H-E-Double-Hockey-Sticks out of it, my friend!

Cool watch. Don't know squat about the brand other than it is in fact quite old.

That's a nice one, Mort. You could wear it for the Bison-tennial!

I am a sucker for textured dials and I definitely like that one. Nice pick up Kevin.

Thanks I wasn't expecting the dial to be as textured as it was plus after a while you seem to forget what brand
your wearing and just appreciate the fit and finish and yes I'm still talking about Ingersoll.

It is indeed; the full dial is a rather dim glow, while the hands are a sharper, brighter green. It makes kind of a cool contrast... ;)
