First of the year

First of the year

Postby Mark1 » February 24th 2017, 1:35pm

Just got my first watch of 2017 in today. It's a Seiko SARG013 which I have been looking for a couple of months now. Bought used, but you can't tell looking at it. Bracelet is just a little snug adjusted out all the way so I'll be looking for an extra link or a leather strap. At 42mm it's just about as big as I care to go. The thin bezel makes it look a little larger than it actually is, but I believe I can live with it.

Great watch, very tasty!
Have you considered a s/steel bracelet extender?

I have a couple of bracelets with these, they are great and come in several sizes to fit just about any bracelet, some are even gold plated.

Nice Seiko -the thin black bezel reminds me or hints at an Omega look.

Good score.

I've had one on a strap for a year or so and like mine...good choice, I haven't seen many in the wild..

That's nice. Something a bit different.

Nice one Mark.
I too see shades of Omega PO in the bezel. Thicker inside border than the outside probably does this.

That is really sharp Mark. Seiko Coserv will send up to three links at no charge. I've done this several times. Even if JDM watch, they may still have links and can cross-ref other models with same bracelet.

Have eyeballed this model multiple times. Looks even better than the stock photos. Nice addition.

The truly nice thing about integrated strap/bracelet watches..... it prevents someone from fucking them up with a gay NATO strap.
